RUUSULLA is pop/indiepop/ folk duo started by 2 cousins from Jyväskylä. RUUSULLA produces their music by themselves. RUUSULLA contemplates subjects from mental health challenges and relationships to growing up to adult life from women’s perspective. RUUSULLA artists Ruusa and Ulla are cousins which have made music together all the way from childhood. RUUSULLA releases their debut album ’’Päiväkirja’’ in spring of 2024. Duo has released singles ’’Lokki’’ and ’’Rappukäytävä’’, which have been praised by listeners and professionals from music industry. RUUSULLA has been played by local radio stations and also in Radio Helsinki. RUUSULLA has performed in yläkaupungin yö -festival on 2022 and in Jyrock festival on fall of 2023. Duos greatest goal is to get to perform in Ruisrock and make their music their lifes work.
