Rane Rautiainen & Paha Kaksonen
Rane Rautiainen & Paha Kaksonen, waving the flag of Finnish-language heavy rock, serve up their own solid material as well as classics from Rautiainen’s ex-band Rajuilma. The band’s most recent recording is Viimeinen mies pystyssä (The Last Man Standing) EP released in October 2023. Inferno magazine of December 2023 wrote about the album like this: “The five-song ep is genuine rock stuff from rush to heel, i.e. proper guitar-driven riff attack with lyrics that exude macho love”. Charismatic rock interpreter Rane Rautiainen is known as the former singer of Jyväskylä’s most notorious rock band Rajuilma. Paha Kaksonen, who turns 20 this year, and Rautiainen hit it off after the Rajuilma special gig played at Tanssisali Lutako in 2016.
